Where to find khorium in wow

Khorium Ore is the rare ore in the Outlands. This is a really great ore to farm because it is really valuable. A Khorium Bar can sell for 60 gold. Not a stack, a single bar! You will want to be level and have mining at level before trying to farm Khorium.

You will also collect a lot of Adamantite while farming Khorium, this sells well on the auction house too. Update: You can make a lot of gold with Khorium, but if you want to step it up and make thousands of gold you should read my personal favorite guide. In my experience, the best place to farm Khorium is in Nagrand.

Now it looks like these are being removed from the flying carpet mount in Battle for Azeroth, so prospecting is not quite as profitable as it once was. I do well in Sunwell Isle, probably because no one else goes there. If your Sunwell isle is not lucky for you, try the Shadowmoon Valley Outland route. You can also sell Khorium Scopes and Khorium Cores which are engineering parts and used for further crafting. Notice the little!

It means all sorts of things, but to us as goldmakers it signals GOLD. This is a price that is volatile and fluctuates wildly. All in Nagrand. I've had most of my luck making my rounds at 6am, 1pm, and around midnight.

This may not work for everyone, but on my server it works for me. Maybe I'm just lucky. I know that khorium is a rare spawn and is completely random, but there is one spot, a hill down near the Spirit Fields, where I've had khorium spawn abuot 4 times. Comment by Thottbot Since the advent of more chests in outland back a few patches ago, I have actually seen more khorium both ore and bars come from chests then from actually being able to mine it Mind you, one of those is a dwarf, so he spots the chests easily.

But yeah, as stated ad nauseum above, the veins can appear as a replacement of any ore vein anywhere in outland; rich adamantite seems to have a slightly higher chance of a replacement. The ogre caves in nagrand are sometimes good for that It is pure luck if you see one Just a suggestion to all the 70's on their flying mounts You have access to much more ways to get money then lower levels, and while many of the khorium-needed-recipes are also lvl 70 required to use, the max level people are not the only ones who need this.

If you see someone else fighting near the same vein or, for that matter, herb you are hovering over, please wait to see if they are indeed trying to mine pick it, and give it to them as a common courtesy.
