DDR2 has all but been classified as dinosaur memory, but still - in , even after two generations of memory has surpassed it - I cannot find it for sale ANYWHERE without the prices just as high as it was when it was new.

Why is it in that DDR2 isn't dirt cheap, dig through the pile at the flea market price??? I'm seriously looking at just throwing my system out and buying another - would be cheaper than the 6 gigs of DDR2 that I've been waiting for to come down in price forever.
